Known for his incredible drive and disciplined approach to business, Steven Galvagno leads the Air Van Group in its broad service offerings and outstanding reputation. As president, Galvagno leads this dynamic company to do more for each client and do it better.

Following a successful military career, Steve now applies his leadership skills to get the most out of each individual that works along side him. He expects a lot from his employees and makes sure that each one is given the opportunity to succeed for themselves, the clients and the company.

Vendors and partners in the industry describe Galvagno as loyal, fair and driven with a great sense of humor. Clients know to rely on him to be their biggest advocate while employees are comfortable looking to him for leadership and trust that he is as interested in them as the business.

Among his proudest career accomplishments to date include transforming Air Van from a household goods mover to a well respected moving services, special transportation and commercial services company.

Having been a well respected past president, Steve continues to serve on the board of the Washington Movers Conference. Additionally, he is on the North American Movers Hauling Committee.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington on a full ROTC scholarship. He then served 8 years as a United States Army Officer prior to joining the Air Van team in 1991.

There is much about Steve’s work that he enjoys, yet working alongside his family is particularly satisfying. He also is dedicated to the company’s involvement with UW scholarship programs through the Alumni Association.
